  • facilitates productive relationships between the Perry Chamber and related government agencies and partners.

    Our Chamber serves as the voice of the business community at the local, state, and federal levels. The committee functions to bring to the Chamber's membership an awareness & education of key issues related to business growth, public policy, and economic development.  The Governmental Affairs Committee seeks to facilitate open dialogue around issues of mutual interest and concern to the business community and our governmental partners.  The Committee also assists in the planning of events that inform & engage the elected leadership of Perry, Houston County and our State Representatives with our business community including our State of Community Luncheon and Legislative Appreciation Event.
